Thirlestane Castle exceeded all of our expectations during our recent stay in the sculleries. the rooms were impeccably clean and extremely comfortable, making it the perfect place for relaxation. the castle's location in the lovely grounds provided a peaceful atmosphere for unwinding after a day of exploring the local area. One of the standout features of our stay was the castle's incredible dog-friendly amenities. Our furry companion, Jasper, was warmly welcomed and even provided with delicious doggy biscuits as treats. the bathroom in the Sculleries was a particular highlight, with a deep and long bath that was perfect for a relaxing soak. the views from Thirlestane Castle are unparalleled and the walks in the area are truly second to none. Despite the luxurious feel of the castle, the value proposition was exceptional. Overall, Thirlestane Castle is a must-visit venue for anyone looking to experience the beauty of Lauder and its surroundings. I highly recommend it to all travelers, especially those with pets looking for a welcoming and comfortable stay.
